Her work has been featured in Vogue, Vogue Italia, Hamptons Magazine, Beach Magazine, Social Life Magazine, Green Wedding Shoes, Over The Moon, The Cut, and The New York Times.
Alexa's background in education has led her to teach her trade in makeup at NYC's "The Makeup Academy" in midtown Manhattan, where she taught for three years.
Aside from teaching, Alexa is passionate about working with brides to bring them that special light and confidence that will assist them in feeling like their best self on such a special day.
Born to a line of artists and a hairstylist, Alexa has been conditioned to see the beauty and art in each and every person she encounters.
Alexa began working in the makeup industry alongside a mentor when she was in high school, but went on to seek a more "traditional path" in special needs education and speech therapy at NYU.
Throughout her journey in school, Alexa would do friends' makeup, and noticed a difference in the way her friends would carry themselves and act when they felt good about how they looked.
Alexa carried this realization through as she left school and built a vast clientele, bringing a unique light and feeling to each person in her makeup chair.
Alexa has gone on to complete a New York State Licensure in Esthetics, a fashion and editorial certificate at the Makeup Forever Academy, and has had the opportunity to work with high profile and celebrity clientele of Gwenyth Paltrow, Brooke Shields, Nicole Miller, Bethenny Frankel, Sara and Erin Foster, Stacey Bendet, Juno Temple, Ramy Brook, Piper Perabo, and many more.
