Our Values
Makeup with us is built on the foundation of skincare. As a licensed esthetician and skincare expert, Alexa pays special attention to work with you on a skincare plan or regimen to get your skin in its best shape leading up to the wedding day. We are experts in creating makeup looks that feel flawless yet comfortable, and not ever heavy or cakey.
We'll bring a calm, put together, and easygoing presence so you can focus on hanging with friends and family without being overpowered. We want you to feel comfortable, and have a good time without having to worry to even check how you look because we'll be your mirror for the day.
We pay big attention to detail. That goes for our actual makeup process as well as our communication process leading up to the big day. We want you to have that cozy feeling of hugging your artist on the morning of your wedding vs. having to introduce yourself on your important day.
We design your makeup look to work with the camera. We will do our research to make sure we understand your photographer's lighting and editing style so we can tailor your makeup to look flawless whether their photo style is dark and moody or light and airy. While keeping this in mind, we'll never be heavy handed. We prioritize you feeling comfortable and like your best self in real life over anything.

WHAT IS AIRBRUSH AND IS IT FOR ME?
Airbrush makeup can offer an incredible finish that photographs stunningly while still looking natural, healthy, radiant and “like skin” in person. Airbrush can be a game changer for some, and not so amazing for others. It is best when it is going to be a very HOT day and your skin is oily. This waterproof formula stays put through oil, sweat, tears, and 5 hours of dancing kind of sweat - but if dry or worried about lines - it can look heavy and cakey on the skin. Your artist will be able to best direct on what formula is best for you!
SHOULD MY ARTIST STAY ALL DAY?
Choosing the full day package ensures that you and your party will look flawless throughout every photo and every second of the day, not just the first couple hours. While our makeup is incredibly long lasting, there are always elements that we cannot plan for- i.e., wind, humidity, sweat, tears, oil, rain, and more. If you want insurance that your makeup will look perfect the entire event, the answer is yes!
WHAT MAKEUP BRANDS DO YOU USE?
We don’t think any one brand “has it all”, so we use an array of brands in our kits including, Charlotte Tilbury, Bobbi Brown, Hourglass Cosmetics, Dior Beauty, Armani Beauty, NARS, Westman Atelier, Tom Ford, and more. All skincare and makeup products used are hypoallergenic and unscented as much as possible.
Alexa and a majority of the team are licensed estheticians, which means we are very attentive to ingredients and making sure to not use any products that would be harmful or not the best of the best!
CAN I BOOK A TRIAL BEFORE COMMITTING TO MY DATE?
Yes! You can book a trial before committing to locking in the date. I always like to note that if you do choose to book your trial prior to the date, your date is not held unless there is a contract signed and retainer paid.
WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY MAKEUP TRIAL?
We usually recommend scheduling your makeup trial 2-5 months prior to the wedding date. This ensures a fresh, complete vision and availability of products. We will send out a link to schedule your trial 6 months prior to your wedding date so you can easily book.
ARE YOU ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE FOR LARGE PARTIES?
We have an amazing team of artists, so we are able to accommodate for as many people as you need. We have done events servicing up to 25 makeup applications!
